I was the lighting and set designer for The Shape of Things performed at The Village in Cedar Rapids, IA and produced by RHCR Theatre. The show takes us on the journey of Adam who meets Evelyn, a sculptor. Without knowing it, Evelyn is "sculpting" Adam into something new - just to prove she can. I designed the set to mimic an art gallery since we are (unknowingly) seeing the creation and display of art. The lighting gradually becomes more saturated with color as Adam becomes less and less of himself and more of Evelyn's masterpiece.
